How do you change an acoustic guitar string?
Can someone provide me step-by-step instructions to do this? Thanx!
ok there are two types i will explain both. if your guitar is steel acoustic , first cut the strings out with pliers then put the new string from the bottom if you look at the strings you have they have nuts at the bottom that will not allow the whole string to go through then you simply put the the other end ( front) in the twisted part with respect to which ever string you are putting in then you just get a tuner and tune your guitar. ok now if you have a spanish nylon string acoustic then the only difference is that at the bottom you have to twist the string in a special way that will make a kind of loop knot so that it will be stable at the bottom google how to restring a nylon acoustic and you should be provided with examples
