Guitar Strings Walmart

Question to guitar players…or anyone else who knows..?
Do you know if Walmart sells guitar strings? I know Target does but Walmart is closer to my house. Thanks.
Depends on what Walmart, though I’d assume they would. Remember, their strings are more than likely going to be really crappy kinds with limited variety (as with most specific goods at Walmart). Any respectable (even beginner) guitarist knows how much quality strings bring to their sound, and that it’s essential to trial and error what kind of strings fit what their playing style and demands. There are hundreds of different brands and kinds within those brands. Most known and used strings include Martin, D’adarrio, Alvarez, Dean Markely, Ernie Ball, DR, and Elixir. Again, within those brands are different gauges and metals used in the strings, etc. If you already knew this, then I apologize for being superfluous. I recommend you to not purchase from Walmart if they do happen to carry strings. Find a small guitar shop, or if you must, a large music center like Guitar Center which has variety and choices to add credibility to you as a guitarist, whether you’re a serious player or not.
