Guitar Strings Tuning Pegs
Question on guitar tuning pegs?
On my acoustic guitar (which is just a starter electro-acoustic) the gear inside the D string tuner has become warped so the cogs (I think you could describe them as) on the ‘bush’ are not able to work. So The guitar is unable to be tuned. I phoned a local music shop and they said that they would have to send away for the parts as there are so many different sized pegs. Any ideas what I should do? Could I just buy them six tuners or do could I get away with buying the ‘bush’?

Obviously, you have a cheap set of machine head and I would suggest changing the entire 6. They are mostly standard and the holes on guitars are basically standard world-wide.
Go here and YOU will be well served. Forget chaning the bushing. If one breaks the others will follow eventually.
