Guitar Strings Steel Nylon
Guitar: Steel strings or nylon strings? Which is better?
I am buying a Takamine G330 and wonder which strings “sounds” better?
well if you’re a serious musician you would go with the steel strings.
My sister just upgraded to one…she used the nylon one when she just started playing the guitar, now that shes a bit more experienced and mature with her music, shes gone with the steel ones.
Its a Monterey Acoustic / Electric. sounds great as an acoustic, plus she can plug it in with an amp
With a nylon the sound is pretty dull, kinda like for campfire songs…if you get what i mean.
The steel sound is much stronger and crisp, great if your plucking…i suggest this one!
