Acoustic guitar playing problem?

I’m sure I can do it- but I don’t know how to read the guitar tabs below and play them!
what are the circles and exes’s meanings? and How do I know which strings to strum/pluck and the frets and stuff I push down?
How do I play it?
you only post the chords. the line above the dots that only goes through certain strings means you have to “bar” those with your index finger. the nubers on the dots are the recommended fingers. Here is another site that recomends the same chords; just some are played differently.
As far as the strumming and what-not, it sounds like arpeggios or some variations. Just make the chord and find a decent pattern for the notes.
