Guitar Strings Hard To Press

The strings on my acoustic guitar are too far away from the fret board?
It’s hard to press the strings down sometimes >_<
Anything I can do?
The distance between your strings and fretboard is called the action. If the action’s too high, it’s difficult to press down on the strings; if the action is too low, you can get buzzing on some frets because the strings touch the frets when they’re not supposed to.
If you’re comfortable working on a guitar, all you need to do is take the bridge out and sand it down a little. If not, you might just want to take it to a music shop and ask them to adjust the action.
