Guitar Strings Acoustic Guitar

How much will it cost to buy new acoustic guitar strings?

I’m not looking for any special ones, I’m just learning to play guitar, but the guitar has broken strings. And as James Morrison has told us, you can’t play on broken strings.
Anyway, it’s a fairly stereotypical acoustic guitar, full size. It’s in good shape apart from the strings. What strings should I buy, and how much will these cost (bearing in mind, I don’t have a lot of money, and don’t want anything particularly amazing)

DON’T go to warlmart to get musical stuff, they do sell cheap stuff, but cheap quality. they will most likely break withen a week if you buy one from walmart.

Strings don’t cost too much. They are about 3 dollars and up per set of strings.

if its says like .10 .11 or something like that, i would get a .11 or .12 for acoustic. the string gauge is how thick the string is, and they measure it by the thinnest string, high e. so .12 would be the high e string. for electric, its easier for it to be thinner. so you could do soloing. for acoustic, you want it to be a bit thicker, it will have a nicer sound, but harder to play, so got with .12

but here is all sets of 6 strings they have at guitar center for acoustic: http://www.guitarcenter.com/6-String-Sets-Acoustic-Guitar-Strings.gc?o=1
I myself like ernie ball strings. they are great.

good luck
