Elixir Acoustic Electric Guitar Strings

Will going from .053 strings to .056 hurt my guitar?
I have an Ovation Celebrity acoustic electric, and I would like to know if putting heavier strings would damage it. They are Elixir Bronze with polyweb coating.
no they shouldn’t, as long as it is a fixed bridge it should do anything different. Now is you had a locking tremolo that would be a different story.
