Does Holding Guitar Strings Hurt

I’m feeling incomplete without a hobby?

I’m an 18 year old female and I enjoy reading. That’s pretty much the only hobby I have and I love it but I want something more. Something people would really expect out of me. I’ve been thinking about guitar… but my hands are very tiny and I think the muscles in my pinky are weak and don’t know if they would be able to hold down a string, plus I heard it hurts your hands very bad. And a lot of people have told me it’s too late for me to learn. I’m also interested in learning how to ride a motorcycle… a street bike or a cruiser IDK. Probably a street bike though. But street bikes are very expensive.

So does anyone have any ideas? Something fun that I can continue to improve at. That also gets me out of the house (so not video games, knitting,,,)

THANKS IN ADVANCE :D

I dirtbike, hunt, and fly rc airplanes. The only drag to any of those is hunting, and you can only hunt during seasons, and you have to take a safety course before you can get your liscence. The downside of rc planes is you cant fly every day due to wind or weather. But dirtbiking, theres not much of a downside unless you live in the city, you can ride in any weather, other than lightning.
