Best Guitar Strings

what kind of guitar strings are best for a mockingbird electric guitar?
I was wondering what the best guitar strings were for a bronze series bc rich mockingbird. I’m the least bit knowledgeable about guitars so any help you can give would be welcomed.
Different manufacturers do different things with their strings (different cores, wrappings), but it is really up to you as to which model of strings to play, so you must play them yourself to find out your likes and dislikes.
With that being said, here are a few things to watch for, and things I’d say are more important than the brand:
1. Gauge of the strings. Guitar strings come in sets of different gauges, or circumference of the strings. This is usually described on the packaging as “Light”, “Extra-Light”, “Medium”, etc. A general rule of thumb is that the smaller (lighter) you go, the lower the guitar action, and the easier the guitar is to play. However, a heavier string will give you more tone and extended life..the trick is to find your personal balance.
2. Coated or not coated? A coated string has a super-thin coating on top of the string, to prevent sweat, dust, grime from destroying the tone of the string. These usually sound better two or three times longer, though manufacturers sometimes claim “5x”..as you would expect, these cost more, 2-4x a normal set of strings.
A few reputable strings you could try are Ernie Ball, D’Addario, GHS, D.R., Dunlop, among others.
Hope this helps!
